Employer's Perspective:
The Lactation Support Program aims to make the transition back to work easier and provide guidance to managers and leaders on how to ensure their employees have the access they need. Each of the 37 registered Lactation Rooms (more coming soon) across Hopkins campuses, offers private, comfortable space and includes at least one hospital-grade breast pump. Online registration allows users to select and use rooms most convenient to them. The Lacstation™ vending machines provide employees with a quick solution for lost or missing accessory kit parts. Employees and students at Hopkins consistently let us know how much access to a lactation room has meant to them.
