Inaugural DC/Maryland Regional Breastfeeding-Friendly Workplace Recognition Awards
Contest Rules
- Businesses may nominate themselves or be nominated by their employees, however, all nominated businesses must consent to a worksite visit to verify criteria met.
- All nominations must be received by October 15, 2011 at 5:00pm in order to be considered.
- Businesses will be recognized as follows:
- Small (up to 50 employees): Bronze: 3-10 points, Silver 11-20 points, Gold ≥ 20 points (at least 1 gold criteria must be met)
- Medium (50-500 employees): Bronze: 5-14 points, Silver 15-30 points (at least 1 silver criteria per category must be met), Gold ≥ 30 points (at least 2 gold criteria must be met)
- Large (500+ employees): Bronze: 10-19 points, Silver 20-40 points (at least 1 silver criteria per category must be met), Gold ≥ 40 points (at least 4 gold criteria in 2 different categories must be met)
- Bronze criteria will receive 1 point each, silver criteria will receive 2 points each, gold criteria will receive 3 points each.
